Green Chile Hominy Casserole

12 oz can hominy
milk
1/2 cup grits
1/4 lb grated (shredded) cheddar or Monterey jack
4 oz can green chiles, diced
1 tsp salt

Drain liquid from hominy. Add enough milk to liquid to make 2 cups.
Bring to boil and stir in grits: 2-3 minutes. Add drained hominy
and one half of cheese, chiles, and salt. Pour into a buttered
casserole, sprinkle with cheese. Bake 300, 30 minutes.
