Stuffed Cabbage 27

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls 1 head cabbage
1 lb. lean ground beef 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 cup cooked rice 2 eggs 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/4 cup fresh parsley 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground peeper
4 cups favorite tomato sauce Put the entire head of cabbage in a pot of boiling water. Turn the stove off and let the cabbage sit for 6-8 minutes. Remove it and take the largest outside leaves off.
Mix all of the filling together. Lay out a large cabbage leave and put 2 tablespoons of filling into leave (more or less depending on size of leave) in a log shape. Fold ends of leave in then roll up repeat until finished filling. you may use a toothpick to hold together.
Put one cup of sauce into a large casserole pan place rolls into pan. Add remaining sauce on top of the cabbage rolls. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 35-45 minute. Serve with a hot loaf of Italian or French bread.
