1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 large head of cabbage, chopped into 1-2 inch pieces
1 onion, quartered and sliced
1/2 lb kielbasa, sliced into 1/4- 1/2 inch pieces
Egg noodles, store-bought pierogies, or boiled potatoes
Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add cabbage, kielbasa, and
onion. Stirring occasionally, cook all on low to medium heat (heat
can be higher if you're using a heavy bottomed skillet) till sausage
is hot through, cabbage is tender, and onion is clear or almost
clear, about 20-30 minutes (keep covered in between stirring).
Season with pepper to taste. Serve over your starch of choice.
