Bean and Pork Chop Casserole
2 15-oz cans Ranch-Style Baked Beans 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil 4 center cut pork chops, thin cut 1 small onion, chopped 1 large apple, peeled and cut into chunks 1/4 cup seedless raisins 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon, divided 1 Tbsp. maple-flavor pancake syrup 1/4 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease 13x9" baking dish. In large skillet, over medium-high heat, in hot oil, brown chops on both sides, about 10 minutes; remove to plate. In drippings remaining in skillet, saute onion 5 minutes or until softened. Stir in beans, apple, raisins and 1/8 tsp cinnamon; spoon into prepared baking dish. Place chops on top of bean mixture; cover. Bake 30 minutes. Remove cover; brush chops with syrup then sprinkle with salt and remaining 1/8 tsp cinnamon. Bake 15 minutes longer or until chops are fork-tender. Makes 4 servings.
